During November, Poppy of the lovely PoppyPeacockPens has been running a wonderful initiative to celebrate novellas in all their glory.
She was kind enough to ask me to take part, so I’ve been happy to offer some of my favourite novellas – although as always, it’s so hard to pick!
Do pop over and take a look – as well as my favourites, there are some wonderful posts about some wonderful books! 🙂

I liked your choices. Reading the list I was trying to think why my selections would have been. Heart of Darkness and The Awakening for sure. Hotel du Lac may figure too.

Thanks! It’s really hard to choose, particularly when you’ve read as many books as I have….. 🙂

I’m going to read A Christmas Carol next month for sure. Well, it has been on my TBR for 34 years 😊
Great list!

🙂 Excellent! This is definitely a good time of year to read it, and it’s short for a Dickens!

A good combination of some I’ve read and some I haven’t. I’m usually a little wary of fiction written by more than one person, but ‘Where There’s Love, There’s Hate’ intrigues me. That is one I haven’t read.
I agree that the novella is the perfect fiction form. 🙂

Where There’s Love is seamless – highly recommended!
