This is the page where I’ll collect together links to everyone’s posts on the books we read and enjoy as part of the #1965club! Please do leave links in comments so that I can add you in – looking forward to hearing what people discover and share as part of our joint exploration of the year of 1965! 🙂

My choice for the 1965 Club is Sofia Petrovna, Lydia Chukovskaya’s fictional account of the Great Purge. https://anzlitlovers.com/2019/04/22/sofia-petrovna-by-lydia-chukovskaya-translated-by-aline-worth/

I’m really struggling to find the time this time around. I’ve read one thin book so far—I just hope I can get a post done. I’m currently stuck in 1953 reading The Go-Between by new favourite author, L. P. Hartley. I just need to jump forward twelve years.

Oh dear – not to worry, even if you post after the end of the week we can still link! Sometimes we just want to read what we *want* to read and not what we feel we should! 😀
